TAV’s two airports among Europe’s best in service quality
Zagreb and Skopje airports received the prestigious Airport Service Quality (ASQ) award by ACI World. Skopje is also recognized as one of the top airports with the best hygiene measures in Europe.
A member of Groupe ADP, TAV Airports succeeded to place two airports in its portfolio as the best in Europe in service quality. ACI World announced this year’s ASQ awards and Zagreb and Skopje airports top the list among airports with “2-5 million passengers” in Europe. Additionally, based on new hygiene related questions added to the survey questionnaire, ACI has introduced a new award - ‘Best Hygiene Measures by Region’ and Skopje Airport is among the 33 airports awarded worldwide.
TAV Airports Chief Operating Officer Kürşad Koçak said “As TAV, we operate 15 airports in eight countries. During the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to provide a safe travel experience to passengers we have been adapting our operations to the internationally recognized standards and best practices. We follow the needs and expectations of our passengers closely and strive to provide innovative solutions. In all our airports, we’re implementing increased hygiene applications and minimizing physical contact while trying to keep passenger comfort at the highest possible level. With our qualified human resource and our know-how, we became a preferred brand in airport operations on a global scale.”
ACI World Director General Luis Felipe de Oliveira said “ACI’s Airport Service Quality awards represent the highest possible accolade for airport operators around the world. This year more than any other, the awards recognize those airports that have listened to their customers and adapted the services and experiences they offer to meet changing needs and expectations under very trying circumstances. I am proud of the achievements of all ASQ award winners which shows their focus on delivering excellence in customer experience and setting an example of excellence for their peers. As we come together as an industry to meet the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the focus on customers that the ASQ programme provides will help guide the way.”
