TAV Airports supports startups to develop future airports
A member of Groupe ADP, TAV Airports hosted the second "Airport Innovation Days" at Ankara Esenboğa Airport, aiming to drive innovation in airport operations and mobility solutions. The event showcased 15 finalists, with the jury awarding the top three ventures.
Startups producing creative solutions in transport and aviation met at Ankara Esenboğa Airport for the Turkey leg of “Airport Innovation Days,” organized by TAV Airports and Groupe ADP in collaboration with Financial Times Group’s Sifted. During the event, Sensemore, Assistbox and Waste Log were awarded for their outstanding proposals.
The one-day event attracted significant interest from passengers at Esenboğa Airport. TAV Airports Executive Board Member & Chair of Executive Committee Franck Mereyde, and Esenboğa Airport General Manager Nuray Demirer opened the day, followed by startup pitches and jury deliberations.

Startups selected through preliminary evaluations participated in three categories: “Airport Operations,” “Green Airports,” and “Passenger Experience.”
The first-place prize is awarded to Sensemore, which provides an AI-based machine health solution to improve equipment performance and longevity by detecting potential issues before they occur.
Assistbox, a video call infrastructure provider, took second place. It‘s a technology company that produces video-based solutions that will accelerate the strategies of corporations to provide their customers with an omnichannel experience.
Third place winner Waste Log provides a technological solution to enable total control over waste management through real-time monitoring and analysis.
The second leg of the vent will be held on November 6th at Queen Alia Airport in Amman, Jordan, and the final will be on December 4th at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris, France.
The three awarded startups will attend the final event in Paris. The first-place winner will have the opportunity to implement its project at an airport in TAV Airports portfolio. Additionally, all three ventures will receive support from Sifted to promote their solutions on an international level.
