TAV’s three airports ranked in the World’s Top 100 Airports list

TAV Airports has added Almaty to the Skytrax “World’s Top 100 Airports” list—determined by passenger evaluations—joining Ankara and Medina. At the award ceremony held in London; Ankara, İzmir, Milas-Bodrum, Almaty, Madinah, Riga, Skopje and Tbilisi were also recognized among the best in their respective categories.

Almaty Airport, operated by TAV Airports—Türkiye’s leading global airport operator—ranked 89th in the “World’s Top 100 Airports” list. Ankara Esenboğa and Medina airports, were included in the list. Almaty Airport was additionally awarded “Cleanest Airport in Central Asia/CIS” and “Best Airport Staff,” while Medinah Airport was named “Best Regional Airport in the Middle East.” Ankara, Izmir, Milas-Bodrum, Tbilisi, Riga, and Skopje airports were also recognized among the best in their respective categories.

TAV Airports CEO Serkan Kaptan said: “As TAV Airports, we operate 15 airports in eight countries and strive to deliver the best travel experience to our passengers. Last year, we served 113 million passengers. All our airports included in the Skytrax program—based on passenger evaluations—continue to improve their scores and rankings each year. This year, we increased the number of our airports in the Top 100 to three, while eight of our airports are ranked among the best in their categories. The Skytrax awards were announced at a ceremony held in London as part of the Passenger Terminal Expo (PTE), which brought together more than 10000 industry professionals from over 120 countries. TAV Technologies welcomed visitors at its stand, showcasing its airport IT solutions.

During the PTE conference, TAV Airports CCO & TAV Operation Services CEO Aude Ferrand spoke at the panel titled “Tailored Travel – Is Hyper-Personalization the Future of Passenger Experience?” and delivered a presentation titled “Intelligent Personalization: Elevating Hospitality and Value Across the Airport Ecosystem.”

Almaty Airport CEO Göker Köse participated as a speaker in the panel “Private Airport Groups Driving Sustainable Growth and Digital Innovations for Airside Development.”

TAV Airports CIO & TAV Technologies CEO Kerem Öztürk and TAV Operation Services CMDO Aylin Alpay spoke at the session titled “The Missing Link in Travel Connectivity.”

Established in 1999, the Skytrax World Airport Awards are based on a global customer satisfaction survey, evaluating services and facilities at more than 565 airports worldwide through passenger votes.
